Yes I experienced the same thing, if I want to create a new discussion I always have ideas, but when I want to respond to the other discussion I sometimes feel confused what should I write?

its because some members here just start discussion with out expecting response i guest. so other members dont know what to response to the discussion.

Hello Jhovarie, I disagree.I like to respond to other's discussions.I do start a discussion when i know i have a time to comment back to the responses otherwise i find it easy to respond to other's discussions. I just go to different tabs like recent, top, hot to search for interesting topics and rarely it happens that i don't find any topic which interest me.

I am doing the same thing as sjvg. Although when I was so so new here I was actively posting discussions everyday or at least every other day. Nowadays I don't get to create new discussions. But I have enjoyed responding. Like sjvg, I go to those tabs to check whether I can find any discussion that might catch my attention. Why not try adding/managing your interest Jhovarie? So you will get to see more discussions depending on the interest you've chosen.

yes it happens with me also sometimes but don't worry this is a normal happening since it happens with many.Go to interest page rather than opening discussion under my interests tab since that page will contain all discussion from your specific interest .I hope this will work for you . It happens at times...What I normally do is to go through the discussions stated by friends and respond to at least a few of those then go to the ones which have no responses and respond to one or two...It becomes easier when I have an active discussion with many comments, it gives me an opportunity to respond to those and may be also comment on discussions started by those members who have taken part in my discussions - all the best and happy mylotting

For me it is actually the opposite. I have so many interests here that I usually find planty of things to respond to. But starting a discussion something has to happen in my life for me to have something to say. It does not happen every day so I respond to others until I think of my own discussion.

I feel a little shy to start discussions, it's a huge effort for me to do so. I'm much happier responding but like you, I find it quite difficult to find really interesting discussions. I usually stick to my friends posts and hope it's interesting. With some friends it's like having a conversation when I respond to them, with others, it can be a real chore.

Hi Jhova, indeed sometimes it is hard to find discussion that interest me. I do came across a few times and what i do is, i search for some old discussions that interest me to post my reply. If i just unable to find any discussion when i search through old discussion, then i will decide to start my own discussion. Because sometimes, starting own discussion is very interesting as well. hope you will find more interesting discussion in here and able to earn well from here.

Sometimes it happens that we can't see any interesting topic that suits our interest. Yes, it is easier to start our own discussion and keep responding back. That is the best way to earn good as well. So, each time you post a discussion, make sure to keep responding all comments that you received and never leave any comment blank. Enjoy mylot

i cant avoid it mate i always leave response as blank because some response is that i cannot understand and i dont know how to comments to their response.. its looks like useless to say "thanks for your response" or "thanks for sharing" looks like useless for me.

Hello my views is not coinside with you. I like to respond on the discussion of the other my lotters. I feel uneasy in starting new topics. I am with mylot for more that one year but I post here nearby 40-50 discussions.

I do feel that the longer I am here, the harder I can find interesting discussions for me to respond. However, I still managed to respond to some discussions that I were interested in even though they were not as many as the period when I just joined mylot. In my personal opinion, I can earn more and easier if I start a new discussion. To start a new discussion, I do need to have a good idea which I am thinking to share. It is not easy for me to have such idea too. To respond to the discussions, it will be easier. Normally, I shall respond to certain discussions which I am interested in only. In my past, my responses to the discussions were more than the new discussions that I had started.

Yes,when u don't find a discussion that interests you then it is always easier to start one.The only reason is that we will have more insight in the topic than the responders.I also faced a similar situation on the valentine's day, when mylot was flooded with only valentine wishes and related discussions.I was really fed up that day.I didn't find anything appealing and hence started my own discussions after a long time.Whatever,it may be whether starting a discussion or responding to a discussion its all fun.Happy mylotting!

If you list your interests on MY Lot then you could pick discussions to get in out through your interests. It's just as easy to respond to a discussion as it is to start one and I usually get lots of responses to my discussion. I hurt my neck and shoulder recently and people were very helpful with all their suggestions as to how to ease the pain, I appreciate that. You could respond to discussions based on your interests and start discussions the same way. Anyway, have fun, no matter what you decide.

It is easier sometimes to start a discussion than responding to the topic that interest you. When ideas keeps on pouring in your brain, you can really start many topics in one sitting but there are times also that i don't have any idea about what topic to start.Yesterday, I was not able to post because my nerve cells are not working together.

I'd rather respond than start discussions.. I sometimes go to the different topics if I can't find a lot I'm interested in on "discussions my friends started", then I find quite a few interesting posts.

Sometimes I find quite a few interesting discussions, and other times I barely find any. It is hard to respond to discussions if I have no genuine interest in them. It is the same with starting discussions. Sometimes I can think of several and sometimes I can think of nothing. I guess it all depends on where my head is at the time.

Maybe yes if your not in the mood to the topic available and you feel board. but just read the content of each respond and somehow your get in the topic they are taking too. or maybe you have an idea that would conflict the other discussion maybe they have similarity and no time and lost your interest to do searching

Sometimes I feel that way, too. Sometimes starting a discussion, if you have a good idea, is easier than sifting through discussions to find one interesting enough to respond to. Maybe you should look for discussions regarding your hobbies - like reading, watching TV, etc? A few days ago I was really bored with everything on here, until I found the 'reading' interest - I must've responded to 30+ discussions just in that one interest, just because I was actually interested in it and wanting to talk about it! Happy MyLotting!

I was also thinking about the same thing. For me it is actually more difficult to think of something new to start a discussion than to respond to other discussions. But I agree that there aren't many interesting discussions to respond to.

Try to open to new interest. Maybe you can find something that you might like. And yes I've experienced also that its hard to start a new discussion, lately I Haven't start new one. You are right it is easier to respond to other discussion than making one.
