I want to post.. but my mind's blank...

Oh, I've been trying for days to think of a good discussion but can't think of one. But if I'm walking out there or about to sleep, that's the time I can think of one or two, and later on when I'm on mylot, I forgot them already. And I'm having a hard time finding discussions that would interest me and I can relate with so that I have something to respond to. Anyway, even if your mind's blank, happy mylotting!

Well, I did not have this problem in mylot but I have this problem in update my own website. As I am too greedy to maintain a few website a the same time... Sometime, I few too empty to write anythings. Than..I will just be lazy to sleep or read comic ... ... :(

Hi! Normally such thing would not happen with me. If am too tired mentally or physically or both then my mind goes blank and in that case I won't feel like doing anything and that includes mylotting. If am tired I would not log in and keep staring the screen without any fruitful efforts ...... Lol!

Well, I had my share of problems as to what discussions to start with. There are just times when you really have nothing in your mind to post about. Moreover, I also cannot go online most of the time since I have a day job. I am thinking that if I start a post, I may not be able to respond most of the time. So in effect, I just do more of responding rather than starting a discussion.

Yes,there are moments when the same thing happens to me,the ideas refuse to come to my mind,so eventually I do the reasonable thing and give up posting for that day.After all,these periods of total lack of inspiration are compensated by the days in which my brain is full of ideas and I manage to make several quality posts,so even if I have a bad day when inspiration is completely gone I'm not worried because I know that the good old times of posting will be back.

Yes i have experience to that.When i am trying to be in my lot and then i have words or topics to say. It is like blank my mind yes i also experience like this.

My mind was blank the whole of last week. I had some personal issues due to which I was not able to be online for much time. But whenever I came to the computer my mind would just blank out and I was neither able to post any new discussion nor able to respond to any discussions. So now that I have a holiday from work today I will try and make up for the whole of last week.

He, he..same here. But I've done this before. When I wanted to blog but nothing comes out of my mind. So I talked about tat mental blankness, so now I had a blog.

Ha ha. We are just the same. Sometimes I feel that way. The only thing that motivates me is whenever I listen to music. Meditation music that I download from the internet and it is very effective. This meditation music is the album from the monk. I do not know if it is from monk and even if I am a Christian, I admit that this meditation music inspire me a lot. I do not know why. It is like magic and if motivates me, I post it here on myLot. Hmmm… meditation music. U-oh, now I am promoting meditation music. Ha ha… but I really cannot help it. It really helps us to have energy to post here on myLot if we have no mood in posting or we are lazy to do something in our life. Well, it is like magic. Try it if you want to take away all the messing things going on your mind. It helps to take away stress and depress. It works for me.

Hi chiyoshan, I suspect a lot of people do fall into this condition from time to time. We are all human beings and are subject to moods, emotions and fatigue. Sometimes when I'm not in the mood for writing no matter how hard I try I can never write a single word. Maybe I'm tired or maybe I lack inspiration at that moment. I don't really know. But I've learnt to not to force it otherwise I'll just post 'rubbish'. So my solution is very simple (similar to yours): I'll just forget it and do something else and come back later when I'm in the mood. Have a good day.

Like everything creative,you have to have inspiration,to be able to produce something.If you don't,then put it aside,and come back to it latter whenyou feel creative.That is what I do with my painting,or writing.If you force yourself,it wil not be as good.

Hello chiyosan, No it never happened with me i always have something in my mind for which i can start a discussion but seldom start it because i don't get much of time to comment back to the responses i get on the discussion.There are many new things i daily encounter which can be discussed here.Due to lack of time i like to respond to other's discussions than starting my own discussion here.

Yes i experience like that, that you want to post but your mind is blank. You don't know what you put. You have type but more erasures in what you do. It is because their is something who bother in your mind. For example stress or depressed. It is natural. The best thing is rest for a while, relax your mind. Get nap.

I'm trying not to start a discusion just in case I do not have to say something back.

Just let your mind flow like river water, bro. Write about something that's on your mind first. If you try to find titles you are not sure of, it takes time to put it down into writing.

I get this all the time; I so rarely find a discussion that sparks my interest enough for me to work up the energy to respond. That's why my comment count is so low even though I've been on mylot for several years. Birdie -

I also have this kind of experience even i am new here but some time i feel like that.Than only the option left will be searching internet.But if i dont get any material from their also than i just sleep for about 2 hours and after refreshing i get ideas
