Today is the beginning of our part of the year we like to call "downtime". No laptops, limited mobile technology, maybe a little TV depending on rain, hot plate or campfire food, etc. This goes straight through Sunday. Do you bond with people and nature, or technology, or maybe both?

Hi dear...
we dont have such system of celebration a year having a bond like you have mentioned. But like to mention that i am attached with nature although i have limited time for it. I am a member of PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) and i try to do my best in favor of animals. Better i can say it is my hobby.
Have a nice time.

I'm not a real big fan of technology although I do use it and I do enjoy getting a break from it. Unfortunately I have a lot of classes that need a computer for me to do my work now and I wonder why we can't just write out our assignments like we used to be able to. I look forward to summer and it's going to be here soon in Northern Michigan. Our weather has been really sporadic because we had 80 degree weather a few weeks ago and now it's been snowing.
I definitely look forward to the summer and getting away from all the technology stuff. I can't wait to be out in nature again.

I positively LOVE Northern Michigan! It's guaranteed snow every night makes it perfect for skiing! I took a full week of vacation in the winter just to play in the snow there! There were years when here in Minnesota we wouldn't see enough snow to make it fun so it called for the mandatory road trip.
Planning fun is almost as much fun as having fun!
