We have set up the free-water cottage again

Like other years we have set up a cottage in front of home on the street, it has earthen pitchers full of cold water; a man is employed there to distribute cool water to passerby. This will be there for 3 months; as per our faith water donation to thirst persons, even birds animals is the best thing one can do; so we have hung pitchers full of cold water on the rooftop for the birds. [b]Do you have such things there on your streets or roof tops, do you donate water? I am sure God will reward us for this. Please comment and share your valued opinion.[/b] Sorry, I am no more regular here because of my and hubby Professor’s health issues. Please bear with me, if I get time I will visit mylot. If anybody comes at home for drinking water, surely I provide it, not only for drinking water but water for other purposes. Our neighbour in up stairs had water problems due to damager in their water motar, we supplied water for 3-4 days to them. We are living in second floor and the terrace is for the third floor people. So it is not possible for me to keep water for birds in the terrace. It is really nice to provide water for the thirsty people, especially the summer is too severe there at present, and people need water on their way. They surely happy to get cool water when they are thirsty and will bless the people who works behind the curtain.

What a noble act you are doing Kalyani! Water distribution is the best distribution to the mankind and also to the animals. I too kept a water mug near my house in which dogs and cats will drink water. You gave a good idea. I will keep one in the terrace too.

Hell Kalyni. What a ice thoughtful idea. We do keep bird baths full of water for the birds that visit the bird feeders we keep in the yard. We don't have very much foot traffic in the suburbs where I live so we don't put water out for anyone. In the parks there are water fountains for those that are there and get thirsty.

That is a very good idea! The problem in Austria is mainly the cold and not the hot weather!

No we dont do that. Although in some places where people go on summer like during holy week where people walk from far away places to reach a church or a place of worship there are those who offered water. But nowadays even water are for sale to almost everybody. In the province where I was born we offer water to those who needs it as water is also free.

I think you had done a brillant job. Now a days there is no one like you who serve others. According to my opinion you must be an ideal to every one, on how to serve others. Really by this you helped me and many mylotters about the significance of water in present situation and i hope you will do the same.
