Quit Letting Liberals Define the Issues

Get in their faces and tell them what is wrong with this administration. Quit letting them redefine the issues as they did with the birth control debate; it was never about the GOP candidates wanting to ban birth control, it was about the liberal Obama wanting to force the Catholic Church to pay for birth control. A clear violation of the First Amendment. Stop letting them define the economy; call them out on the notion that raising taxes on the rich will reduce the debt. It most certainly won't. Stop letting them define the absence of civility; If Obama's words were held to the spotlight, he'd not look good. He said wives and children were off limits, and hasn't told his employees in the party to stop attacking wives and children of Republicans. He's lied, point out graphically the lies. There all on video for crying out loud. If there is anything I can't stand it is milquetoasts, who feign meekness thinking it makes them look good. This is why I very nearly came close to supporting Gingrich. They liberals play dirty and it's time the Republicans gave them tit for tat.

Deb, I don't even know where to begin. You really should take a break and relax. You are obviously passionate, but you know as well as I do that I can counter everything you said. I can show you an example of republicans doing the same thing, and there was silence on here. Politics is all relative!!!

"But all you've convinced me of is the need for Americans to unite against the anti Constitution, anti-capitalist, Chicago style gangsta we have in the White House or we are doomed as a nation." So you are supporting the Anti-Constitution, Anti-capitalist, Republican style heavy on BS, short on FACTS RNC that put us where we are today? The Patriot Act violated the constitution, the way that businesses buy politicians is not capitalism, it is the exact opposite, and the last time I check the economy is getting better, and the country is NOT in the same shape it was when the last republican left office. The American people might have a short memory, but I think it will be a long time till we see another republican in the White House!!!!

So, go vote for Obama and you'll never have to deal with repubs again, he'll have them all in a FEMA camp and maybe he'll give you a nifty czar post?

No it's not dear, it is not relative, truth matters. but thanks for your concern. I'm fine, I know my limits, when I get sick of hearing how terrible things are, I go read a book on how terrible things are. I don't want to burst your bubble debater, after you expressing such concern for my sanity and all, but what Bush did doesn't matter to me NOW, I try to deal with the HUGE problems we have NOW. As for Republicans, I've told you over and over, I would agree if there was proof and I DO AGREE when there is proof. But all you've convinced me of is the need for Americans to unite against the anti Constitution, anti-capitalist, Chicago style gangsta we have in the White House or we are doomed as a nation.

Hell Yeah! Couldn't have said it better myself! The snake tongues twist the issues and then make mountains out of nothing while the issue it's self is forgotten and left to their hands to make into a mess. Like Obama today going after congress to spend more money to watch dog the oil industry instead of putting to use the agencies we already have to do so. Twisting things to waste more tax payer money while making it look as though he is doing something that will actually help us!

You are right. One problem is that so much of the media it biased toward the left that Obama's and the liberals' lies are what get most of the air time. The stories are often slanted in the favor of Obama and his lies.

I use the internet and a lot of what people would call the alternative news. I do read and listen to both conservative and liberal sites as well. I think the important thing is that you don't limit yourself to one point of view. As for the issues, you won't get the straight story unless you really dig. And then you must know the history of the issue. Then you need to understand what the law says, such as the Constitution, Supreme court precedent. Throw in some common sense and you're very likely to hit on the truth of the matter.

The republicans have said, over and over, that as long as we don't raise taxes on the rich, more rich people would hire people, and more jobs would be created and the wealth would trickle down. We have now had the Bush Era tax cuts extended, since, well, the Bush era. Where are the jobs, oh wonderful republican job creators? Obama was made to apologize for Rosen. I am still waiting on Mitt's apology for his endorser, Ted Nugent.

How old are you? Do you remember the boom of the Reagan years? Go read about how during those years of LOWER taxes for the rich, business boomed and people prospered. How the gap between the middle class and the working poor was lessened. Have you tried to learn just what caused this resession? Or do you think that things like this JUST HAPPEN out of the clear blue sky? Now, for Ted Nugent, what exactly did he say that he needs to apologize for? Calling them all 'evil'? Their policies and practices ARE evil as far as I'm concerned. And I'll do you one better, when Maxine Waters, a CONGRESSWOMAN who should realize her words are much more seriously taken, apologizes for saying the Tea Party collegues of her's in Congress should go straight to h3ll, I'll personally email Ted and ask him to say sorry for exercising his right as an American citizen, to call HER and HER party evil.
