In case you didn't know it..JOanne's Craft store takes competitors coupons! And they take as many as you have in one visit as long as the bar code numbers are different on each coupon. Like today, I had a 40% off and a 50% off coupon from Michaels..got them off the internet. Then Joannes had the same 2 kinds of coupons and since they all had different bar code numbers, I had 2 of each...then...I got the mailer from Joannes and got another 40% off and a 50% off..I used them all today at the same visit..and Joanne's had one for $5 off $25 or more...a $90 purchase was couponed down to $42. So join their web sites, and join their instore mailing lists and get those coupons and save save save on any regular priced item in the store. I use it for fabric...but they go for anything.

Hey....thanks! I didn't know they did that and I was just at a JOAnn's Monday night. I would have done the same thing! Now I know!

I would double check with the manager of the store just to be sure. I don't know if this is nationally done, or just by store. I'm going tomorrow!

Thank you so much for the advice. I have a coupon for 40 percent off as well. I am waiting for them to offer a course in Quilting. I finally found my sewing machine and now want to use it. I am hoping to find things this weekend such as floral wiring since I have so many silk flowers (i got married almost 5 years ago and am still finding flowers).

The coupons aren't good for classes, but they are good for buying the supplies you need for the classes. I have been buying quilting stuff...love quilting! I never got into flowers like you have. OFten they have so much on sale..you can only use the coupons on regular priced items..so often I couldn't use the coupons cause everythign I bought was on sale, but since I started quilting..there is always something regular priced..thread, buttons, fabric, batting etc.

Wow, thanks. I had no idea they did that! What a deal. I am also try8ing out a program on my android phone called keyring that stores all my discount card numbers and if the store has a special, it shows on the screen of my phone with bar code that they can scan from the register for the coupon. I have Michael's in there, but did not add Joann's yet. They have great stuff.

You are all "digital"!!! I am still in the 20th century and clip the coupons so I have the "evidence" in my hands so I know what I am doing! I'd be all confused and forget what I had and to use them if I had to do it your way! I am just not that advanced! But yeah... if it works for you..put them all in there! I get mailers in the USPS, 2 from Michaels and 2 from Joannes in email and then the sunday papers have even more with different bar code numbers!

Great deals! I did know Michael's took Jo-ann's coupons I didn't know it was the other way around also! Interesting! So then you can use one of the coupons on each item in the same transaction or seperate transactions? Though Jo-ann's I think has banned me from their mailing list. I always got a coupon when I didn't the money or need for anything. I want to say I had overheard someone saying they can scan the code on your mailer but even still they send me a rare post card but not a flyer anymore :0(

I asked the manager and he said as long as the coupons have different bar code numbers...a customer can use as many as they like in one transaction. I had 5 yesterday. 2 from Michaels, 3 from Joannes. I get the flyers in the mail, email and sunday papers. You might fill out their little entry thing to get on the mailing list again. Maybe they just lost your name or something. And if they dont put you on it...have one of your kids or a friend do it and have them give you the coupons when they arrive. I get the whole 6 page flyer each month and it has coupons for during the month on different weeks.

Thanks coffeebreak for the information. Our Joann's store here is so small reminds me of an old dimestore. they have more material than anything. I used Hobby Lobby coupon to get my ott lamp last year for my birthday as i cross stitch. Its awesome as the light is bright and there is a clamp and magnifying glass attached to it also. When I don't feel good I can lay on the couch watch a movie and cross stitch. Now thats the best of both worlds. LOL I have to get my coupon off Hobby Lobby this week and get some baby yarn I am using to make a baby afghan for my daughter. I have it over half finished so I am excited to get it finished so I can return to stitching.

I used to do similar...in the 80's when the kids would go to bed at 9pm on friday nights...I'd stay up and do crewel while watching Dallas and Falcon Crest (prime time soaps) It was the only time in the whole week that I had just to "me"..and it was relaxing, enjoyable and boy did I get the sewing done! Although there is a Hobby Land here..I have not seen any coupons, but you might ask at Joanne's and see if they take them. The sign says "we take competitors coupons" so..I would think they would
