Mother's day is tomorrow and I wanted to give my adopted mom something great for her day. I had a really nice musical keyboard made by Yamaha. I used to play with it and I could play Amazing Grace, but I forgot how to do it now... anyway I texted my adopted brother and asked him to come by Thursday and get the keyboard for mommy. He did. Mommy was so happy and she was so glad that I thought of her to give it to. I've had it for about 6 years now and never really did anything with it. I was going to throw it out to keep from taking it with me, but then I thought to give it to Mommy.
My daughter is out getting my Mother's day. She asked me what I wanted and I said I wanted a new bra, some jeans and a nice blouse. She just called and said she got them. She said the bra is lacy too... now she is going to go paint on the new house and I'll see her later. I can't wait to see my new clothes... we are going to church tomorrow and we can wear anything.. so I wear Jeans. She said the jeans were light blue.. and I was happy with that. I'll wear them to church and then to dinner.. we mothers... his mom and I are all having mother's day dinner together like always... the kids give us friend chicken and all the works from KFC... they do it every year for us.
Have you thought about what you will do on Mother's day? Please share what you will be doing. I know some will not be getting out tomorrow.. I hope you have a blessed day tomorrow and every day.

Today is the Mother's Day.
I got up early in the morning, and made a phone call to my mother at 9 o'clock, so that my mother would not be waked by my phone ring.
My mother was very happy that I made the phone call, she was happy with the fact that I remember and love her. She said she has wanted to call me yesterday to remind me that today is Mother's Day. But even without her remind, I still remember that.
As I am very busy now, I can not spend time with my mom, but I will do what I can to make her happy. In her age, the call from her family members and friends and the careful words are more important than other things.

That's great that you took the time to call your mom. I know your mom appreciates your effort to make her happy.

Well, my Mom is gone, and my MIL lives in AZ, so Mothers Day is not the best day for me. Since I was never able to have any kids this is actually a Sad day for me, and one I will be Glad when it is over. But I do wish you a very Happy Mother's Day and hope you enjoy your day.

Oh I'm so door you couldn't have any kids. I hope you have some kitties it dog to be a mommy to. My daughter had 3 children but only one is halfway in her life. Having kids isn't always a blessing when they grow up.

Yes I had a wonderful Mother's day. I lost my mom in 1991. I will always remember her also. I have a friend who is an adopted mom to me. She thinks of me as her real daughter.

It's always a great day for me and my SIL's mom. They always treat us well on this day. My flowers are still pretty too.

Hi Pointless, Heres wishing you a lovely Mothers's Day...When my children
asked me what I wanted I practically begged them not to spend money
getting me anything...mainly because I don't need anything,,,I am no
longer working and I just really don't need any shoes, clothes, I
must have 20 pair of jeans and I don't even get a chance to wear them
before they are buying more or something else...I just hate for them
tp spend money unnecessary...that really bothers me...But they don't
listen,,,
I do know that I am blessed and truly thank God for such wonderful
children....
I don't want to go any place because most places will be jammed packed..
I've received 4 delivered of flowers in the last 2 days....i really am
blessed...2 of the delieveries I don't even know who they are from...
the cards just said...'SOMEONE IS THINKING ABOUT YOU"...2 different
Pro Flowers delivery....Oh well they are beautiful and I will just
enjoy them.....

Ho BJ! Wow! You are really blessed. It's great that your children think of you like that. My family does too. I don't have many clothes. I really needed a smaller bra. I'm so happy with my daughter's choice fir me. She is great at picking out clothes for me.

All I know for sure is that I will not be working. Maybe my daughter will call. My son lives here, and I do not know if he will do anything or not. It is good to be able to have nice new things, and I am sure that the keyboard will be happy in its new home and make Mommy happy as well.

Thats the first Mothers Day I enjoyed a lot cause I could take care of my mom in law on that day first time since I am married thats almost 7 years now.
I wasnt sure whether I could get hubby to make the 1,5 hours drive there to see her as his older brother who drinks too much and behaves like a bum has moved back to moms place quite a while ago as he didnt pay his rent.
Soooo I ordered some flowers for Mothers Day for her as always and talked hubby into visiting her.
Yay I succeeded as you guess from my first sentence here. We went there, she had insisted on cooking for us and boy is she a good cook.
The backyard garden was a mess and I asked hubby whether he could work a bit in there as he had this week friday off and he checked about tools and Thu he made the trip to help out. Mom was impressed...... he came back yesterday evening so that helping out was his personal Mothers Day gift I think.
