Why do people have to crucify Madonna for adopting a baby?

People, the Press especially in England, were making a big deal out of Madonna's adopting another baby. I am inclined to believe they are just after making money out of any bit of intriguing news they could create. I think Madonna really loves children and if I were in her place and as much as I can afford it, I would also be happy to adopt children who are less fortunate. Do you think I make sense?

I believe it was nice to offer the little boy a home and adopt him, but wouldn't her money have been better spent, on maybe injecting some of her money into the village so they can all grow their own food and have jobs, I think it would have been a better thing to do.

I think she has given help in the village at the same time and that's how she got to see the baby.

It really does not make sense at all. Putting aside my being a Madonna fan, everyone has the right to adopt a child for as long as they can afford to give the child a proper education and home. I think Madonna is very well capable of that. It would even be a dream come true for some children to be adopted by a pop superstar like her. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Personally I admire her, she's fantastic and she's done so much both in the music world and with children. I am also fed up with the press slagging her off and criticizing her. The children will get a loving home, a great start in life and love, what is so wrong with that? She is a great role model and the press will do anything for a story. She has done what a lot of people would love to do. Ok so she's got music but she's also got a lot of LOVE to give those children.
