Do you lose things in your home .. then find them again days later?? |
|
Do you find that sometimes things seem to go missing in your home ... only to suddenly turn up in an obvious place a few days later ..?? How on earth can that happen ...?? A few days ago I brushed my hair .. put the brush down and then couldn't find it again ... I was sure I had left it on the dressing table ... I had to go out and buy a new hair brush ..!! Yesterday, to my complete surprise the brush suddenly 'reappeared' on the shelf in my bathroom ... I suppose I must have left it there ... but I was sure I had looked on that shelf and hadn't found it ... how weird is that

131. banta78 (3636) | 3 years ago | yeah it used to happen to me a lot especially when i was in school. I was always looking for, searching for books or my notebooks when i needed them only to feel disappointed at not succeeding in not finding them as i was guilty of not keeping them in one place. And funnily when i didn't require them they would appear from nowhere when i am searching for something else or when one is cleaning the house. it seems bizarre. but that is how it used to be. lol

132. miamilady (2498) | 3 years ago | Oh yes, that happens to me sometimes. I use it as a motivator to straighten up my house. The importance of the item determines how hard I try to find it. If I can live without it, I will just count on the fact that I will come across it sooner or later. If it's sometime I need that day. I will usually start organizing my entire house until I find it. Of course I start with the most likely places. You know the old saying...a place for everything and everything in it's place? well, I have about three places for everything. For example, my keys are either hung on a hook near the front door, or on a table in the living room, or on my kitchen counter, or in my purse! I have the same issue with houshold scissors and scotch tape. There are 3 or 4 places where I keep those. Hairbrushes also have a few places where they could be.

133. bwrattybaby (5233) | 3 years ago | In our home I have a place for everything. And things still get lost and reappear a few days later. I did the same thing I was brushing my hair last week and thought I had put my hair brush back up where I keep it. I looked and looked and couldn't find it. Oh but thank God I have several just alike. So I got my hair brushed and then days later I was in the bathroom and low and behold there is my hair brush where my husbands hair brush goes. Now that was odd he uses a soft brush I use a hard brush. So why would I have put it there only God knows....lol.

134. Buchi_bulla (2110) | 7 months ago | I lost my necklace sometime back. My family members scolded me like anything. After two years, I was cleaning my rack and an unused eye glass cover was found. When I opened it, the necklace was in it. May be I have come from a function very late and feeling very sleepy must have kept the necklace in the eye glass cover and forgot about it. Like this there are many incidents.
