Do you lose things in your home .. then find them again days later??

yah everybody has this problem

i forget my i-pod and searched nearly one week and i got it in my book shelf

i dailly lose my different items in my house and find them again days later.

I do believe its some kind of memory gap. We do have memory lapses that is why we dont remember where we place our things. We thought that we placed in a certain place but actually you misplaced it until recently me and my staff did experience this kind of incident in our office. We lost an important document and the following day it surfaced on my table. Me and my staff really saw one of my staff placed the document in the steel cabinet just an hour ago. I asked for it again because i forgot to affixed my signature in one of the documents so my staff went cabiet to get it but unfortunately it was no where to be found. we all looked for it thinking that she must have placed it in one of the tables and so on my table but we could not find. So we left the office not finding the document. The following day it was on my table. I asked the guard if somebody went inside the room the night before or early that morning but the guard to me that nobody came into the office except me. So i just shrug my shoulder and took a deep breath.

My hubby and I do this constantly with our keys and sunglasses! Lol, we joke that if we designated a certain spot to put our keys and sunglasses that we would forget where that spot is! It never fails, we are always searching for the keys. Once, my hubby tore the bedroom apart looking for his license...I came in and asked him what he was looking for. I start trying to help and go to look in his nightstand drawer, he tells me he already looked in there, but I decided to look anyway. What do you know..I open the drawer and it's sitting right on top of everything in the drawer. I think when we are in a hurry we overlook the obvious. For some reason the item we are looking for seems to blend in with whatever it's sitting on. I didn't know objects could do tricks!

Unfortunately i usually lose many thing on my own home and mysterious somedays later i usually find them like a magic trick, have a nice day on mylot.

yes, i always do... i could be looking for something for ages and just as I gave up and stopped looking, it suddenly appear.... v. strange. maybe when we are anxious or trying too hard, our eyes and mind play tricks on us? or did anyone saw the movie Dark City... that one has a pretty weird theory abt it....

always happens with me!
sometimes i feel my servant must have taken it off and now she must have placed it back....

but i know that's a stupid logic.
but yeah definitely strange...especially the reappearance when we don't need it!

All the time. I know I lost my cell phone in here about a month ago and I just can not find it anywahere. I cleaned up the whole house. Lifter up furniture, looked in things and everything I just could not find it. Last night I could not find this medicicne I just bought. I ended up digging through the trash and it was in there in the bag from the store. I blame my husband for that.

ya i do it all the time, just recently i thought i lost my sisters christmas gift but then i realized i wrapped it already. I alway lose my hair brush but find it days later ( lol i have a few of them). I do that with my keys all the time i put them some where in my house then i have to look for them becuase i can't remenber where i had but them last. It's horrible
