Coach Tour Holidays Your View |
|
I have been seriously thinking over the last year about visiting Sweden, I made my first step today by going into a travel agency, they suggested a coach tour. I've never been on one before, its 14 day tour everything included but it is very expensive. I know coach holidays, no disrespect are usually popular with the retired. I am 35. Your opinions on coach holidays for and against would be greatly received so I can decide whether a coaching holiday to Sweden would be a viable solution.

1. patootie (3081) | 3 years ago | How exciting to be thinking of going to Sweden for a holiday ...
I think a coach trip can be a great idea if it's a country you've never been to before .. and perhaps if you are a lone traveller then having a preset itinerary is of value ..
But it will be essential to check out the probably age range of the group you are travelling with .. if you were the only 30's years old on a Saga holiday (over 50's) for instance it could make for a very miserable holiday
So you'll have to find the right coach tour ...
But do ry and find out if you can make a holiday to Sweden in other ways and more cheaply .. coach tours are great .. but you do sopend a lot of time sitting in a coach .. perhaps not something a young man like yourself will feel comnfortable doing ...

It will be going by ferry across to France, I'd rather fly and I did think about the room capacity as I'm 6 foot 2, hmmm gonna need more thinking time I guess. I would love to go in May as a birthday treat to myself.

3. lilaclady (19768) | 3 years ago | I did a three week coach tour of New Zealand years ago and I had the best time, took it in turns to have parties in the rooms at night and slept on the coach during the day mostly, but it was good fun....

4. Dolcerina (2026) | 3 years ago | If you like the cold... Have heard about the IceHotel? Probably it is not cheap. But you can go there only from January till March. I have never been there, but i think it is very clear. All the northern countries in europe are very clear. You will see. Have a nice trip.
