Who was President of the USA when you were born?

Over the last week, the United States (or at least many within) has been remembering the life of former president Gerald R Ford. He was the only US president NOT elected- either as Vice President, or President. He became president of the United States after Richard Nixon resigned, on August 9th, 1974. This was about a week and a half before I was born. To be honest, I never really knew much about President Ford until this last week. I did watch most of the ceremonies, heard most of the eulogies, and despite the fact I didn't know the man or remember any of the time he spent in the oval office, I even shed some tears. (I think especially when I saw his grandchildren leading prayer yesterday, in the church in Grand Rapids, MI). I'm sure he wasn't perfect, but I think you do learn a lot about people after they die- some are willing to be more frank about what they think of a man when they're not standing there in front of them to defend themselves. And aside from the fact Ford pardoned Nixon, there wasn't a whole lot "bad" to hear about him. So... who was president of the United States when you were born?
