More addictive: Tetris or Bejewelled?

I have not played Bejewelled but if it is anywhere as addicting as Tetris is, then I do not want to start playing it or I will never be able to get away from my computer.

Hey those are two of my favourite games. I was realy hooked on Tetris when I had one of the first monochrome gameboys. I also had a version on an old PC that kept me busy for hours on end. I like bejeweled a lot too, I can't explain why it, again I was just hooked.

OK, thanks for the tip. I will not start playing Bejewelled since it sounds like is as addictive as Tetris. It's bad enough I sometimes blow 5 hours at a time playing SimCity 3000. That's a heck of a game.

I always tell my husband, if I break a leg and have to sit in traction for awhile, all I will need is a laptop computer with SimCity 3000 on it and I'll be fine. Tetris and Bejewelled could always be installed on there too, I suppose.

I think tetris is a classic but I have never played bejewelled, what is it all about. I can not imagine it would be better than tetris.

A gal I used to work with was hooked on Bejewelled and she'd spend at least a couple hours at a time playing it. I don't have that kind of time to play games. It's bad enough I like Tetris so much. I hear women are better at Tetris because they are nurturers by nature, so putting different size blocks into places that they will fit is just part of womens instinct, it's what we do.

A good friend of mine who lives in Holland keeps trying to get me to play Bejewelled. I try not to get too hooked into games because I spend enough time on the pc doing other things like MyLot. ONe more thing and my husband would flip.

I know what you mean. I need to get out more rather than sitting on my butt in front of the computer playing tetris or Bejewelled, or posting on myLot. I am getting better though. Yesterday I was out in our orchard picking peaches before the birds and other critters got to them. They all ripened within one day and I need to find out how to can them before they go bad.

Tetris is so much fun!!!! I've never heard of Bejewelled before. If you decide to try it you'll have to let us know what you think, and if it really is as addicting. Cheers!

I don't dare start playing Bejewelled. I know I'll get sucked in and spend hours playing it, because I've heard it's very addictive.

Run a search for Bejewelled on the internet and you'll be able to see what I'm talking about. Then you can compare it to Tetris and let me know what you think.

Tetris. Hands down. Bejeweled is fun, but it doesn't have the elegant simplicity of a game that spawned a psychological disorder. (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetris_effect) I'm currently building shelves shaped like tetris blocks for my living room. I haven't heard of any rumors about bejeweled shaped furniture :)

Wow, you ARE a big Tetris fan! Tetris-izing your house. Sounds like what I'm doing to my house as a Chargers fan! http://www.chargershouse.com

Hahaha! I always refer to the red long blocks as "sticks" and I'd yell at my computer, "I need a STICK!"

One more block down. I got 2 O-blocks and one I-block. Time for an L now, I think...

It's my opinion that Tetris is what ended the Cold War. The Russians saw what an effect a good product could have on their wallets and decided capitalism wasn't so bad after all.

Between that and the Rubik's Cube, they were able to do very well for themselves, weren't they? I was glad when I found instructions on how to solve the Rubik's Cube (without dismantling it) but with Tetris, you just have to wing it.

I think Tetris and bejewelled are two very cool games. I prefer Tetris probably because I have been playing it longer but mind you, bejewelled is great and pretty addictive as well!

That DOES sound like a fun game. I can't wait to check it out and see the chicken who's shooted. Just that phrase is so funny. I have not heard of Zuma. It's all I can do to keep from spending so much time playing Tetris or Bejewelled. I really have to cut back on the games because I just don't have enough time to play them all.
