Help- Curly hair

I went through this with my daughter when she was young.i found that Aussie is really good, buy the spray pump for friz.she still uses it today an she 30.cutting her hair didnt do any good still came back curly,you can buy a relaxer that will help some you can buy this stuff at any store

Ths is a hard one,I grew up in the sixties,the days of long straight hair. Cury hair and frizz seem to go hand in hand. Some of the things I have tried,have been pomades{have to be careful sometimes makes hair look oily}I can't remember the brand I used to get,it was designed for curly hair. I still have a few of those bad hair days.

I believe there is a product I saw in wal mart that helps stop the frizzies and I think it is called frizziy look real good in the hair product deptment

I really don't know what to tell you but I know what you are going through. My grandson has really curly hair and I adore it but I don't think his mom does.lol. here is a picture of him. Good luck with your daughters curls.

Oh do I feel for her. My hair has straightened itself out over time, but it still has the frizzy. I don't know anything very great for stopping curls and frizz, but I do know something that works wonders on how my hair feels.

If her hair is damaged, this might help it stop some of the frizz. It's by Pantene and it's called "intensive restoration treatment". It costs almost $4 at walmart. It moisturizes the hair, repairing damange and helping to protect it. When I use it, my hair isn't usually frizzy and it becomes pretty managible.

Everyone's hair tends to be different, even curly hair. My daughter and I both have curly hair and it never seems that the same product works well on both. The best thing I've used yet for keeping the frizz down is mousse. I believe it's Finesse in a black can that I use most often. If you want to keep it soft and curly there is a product out there called Straightening Milk. It takes some of the curl out but not all and allows for a softer touch curl.

Best bet is to try different products and don't be swayed by price. There are often tons of products out there that work better than the over priced ones that specialize and you not only can get them cheaper but they're easier to find.

My biggest suggestion is to try different brands of Mousse.

I am cursed with curly hair as well. I use frizzease --- it helps, but nothing works 100 percent. I gave up on trying to straighten my hair. Now I just wear it curly all the time.

Hi there! I'm hoping I can help. I only can recommend these products because I use them my self. I use AVONs hair products, and Redken shine. I use Avon straight serum, and have used the straight shampoo. Now for fly aways you have to use a thin layer of mouse. I've used all kinds, it doesn't matter what brand, any kind will do! I have naturally wavy/curly hair, and it tends to frizz alot. I use Pantene Shampoo and Conditoner or Tresemme Products and they seem to help, and for the days that the humidity is really bad, I have used Curls Up Gel (I buy it at Walmart), Frizz-Ease, and on a daily basis I use Pantene Spray in Conditioner (you leave it in and style your hair). I personally think the best of the three for me is the spray in conditioner, but I do use it everyday, it helps with tangles...there are none after using it, LOL, and I dont get frizzy hair, but if I dont use it I have a poof ball!

good luck i am 26 with curly hair and i still have found nothing to really help. there is thing the hair shops say to try but want like 25$ a bottle so i have never tryed them but i have tryed alot from he drug store and walmart and have found nothing.good luck
