Don't reply with yes or no please. I rate everyone. Tell me a story about you and Betty Boop.

I just love Betty Boop and have for a long time. I have Betty Boop shirts, pictures, and other things. I have a friend here named Betty and everyone calls her Betty Boop. Any pictures I see of Betty Boop in magazines, I will cut out and save. I must have a whole drawer full of those pictures.

My niece loves Betty Boop! She has quite a collection of knic knacs and other items. I saw a diaper bag with Betty Boop on it, but it was too pricy. I knew she would have loved it!

I remember watching her on television (black and white) as a small child. She seems to have made a bit of a comeback in Australia lately. My daughter who is 12 and her friends love her. They have handbags and t shirts.

She debuted August 8, 1939, began her career as a dog. She was originally created as a feminine canine foil to play opposite Bimbo, a diminutive dog who had been the Fleischer Studios' answer to Mickey Mouse. By the time "Any Rags" was released in 1932, her floppy dog's ears had evolved into earrings, and the world's first truly female cartoon star was fully formed. My Dad has liked her for a long time! Even after Betty evolved into a human and hit the big time, Bimbo continued to appear as her nominal boyfriend, despite the fact that he remained a dog throughout his career. Hmmmm

Of course I remember Betty Boop, although I am Asian. My best friend who now lives in San Francisco is crazy about Betty Boop and has a huge collection. She was a widow when she left the Philippines and she recently married a nice retired American who incidentally is also a Betty Boop fan. So they have a combined their collection which occupies their whole huge living room! P.S. Sorry to hear about your husband. Keep giving him your full support and have faith. God bless.

Yes I love Betty Boop. I use to call one of my grandkids, Beety Boop because she had big eyes just like Betty Boop. I would like to get some curtains and bed spread with Betty Boop. for the extra Room when My Grandkids come over. I think she is a cute cartoon.

One of my friends was obsessed with Betty Boop. She had Betty Boop everything. Clocks, calenders, cookie tins, dolls, lamps, plates.... everything. She was so hard to shop for, because she already *had* everything! Trying to find her Betty Boop merchandise she didn't have was next to impossible.

It is not the I remember her. My Dad loved her growing up and we heard so much about her. So anytime there was a betty boop cartoon on tv I had to watch cause it was like doing something my dad did when he was a kid.

I never watched Betty Boop, I don't think, maybe very young the old ones were still on sometimes. But I also have a friend that collects Betty Boop everything. I'm always looking at Betty Boop stuff to see if I can find unique gifts for her...hehehe I check ebay alot. But just poking around antique stores and yard sales I've found some good stuff. She has a whole room dedicated to her..lol

I still remember her even the black and white animation. She's that sexy girl with a big head and curly hair. I used to watch her with my friends and laugh whenever she does something silly.

Yes, I love and collect Betty Boop. I don't really know how it started just know that I started liking her back in high school. Now I collect anything that is Betty Boop. Even my 4 yr. old daughter loves Betty Boop. We watch the dvd's of her cartoons together and she even has her own little Betty Boop tee-shirt! So, I guess you could say that I share my love for Betty Boop with my sweet baby girl!

I forgot to write down my collection: I have 2 sets of betty boop pj's, betty boop undies, 2 sets of betty boop slippers, a pair of flip-flops, keychains, salt and pepper shakes, several notepads, figurines, a purse, and I use to have betty boop checks too(but not anymore b/c my hubby didn't like writing on betty boop checks).

I remember my Betty Boop doll when i was just a little kid. I am sure it was not costly then and was made of celluloid. But to a little girl she was cute and cuddly . also there was some songs attached to her and I would hear them on the radio. I played like crazy with my Betty Boop doll and my dog Pat must have got her nose out of joint and thought I spent 'too much time with my Betty Boop. Pat grabbed my 'precious dolly one morning and took off running with it. I was right behind but tripped and by the time I caught my dog she had almost completely done poor Betsy Boop in. I cried my little eyes out as my mom never did getme another one now they are collectors' items. I am 81 but still remember that like it was yesterday. the dog demolished my favorite Betty Boop.,
