Baby Booties

Does anyone have a good pattern for Baby booties, both girl and boy? I have a neice that will be bon in Feb, and then a nephew born at the end of March. Also, can anyone give me some other ideas as to what I can make for them. Thanks a bunch! (Chrochet please)

The easiest and probably the most appreciated would be a baby blanket. You can make it from the simplest stitch, from some pretty yarn. I can't write out the direction to baby booties, but if you use a search engine I'm sure you could find some patterns easily.

I found some great free patterns on Martha Stewart's website. Some are crocheted. There is a pattern that uses felt to make booties with. I love that pattern.
