My neighbors tried to kill my dogs!!

here a tip you should do. keep them in a cage that they can play around. it's ensure also the safety of your daughters. or let them be inside your house. don't let your dogs wondering around because pittbull is an animal you can't predict what will they do to others even if their train dogs as you say. just being carefull. hope you understand what i mean. i am not also against having a pet dog in the house. i love dogs too. i have one also.

I am so sorry that happened and I know how you must feel. A some years back I had a doberman pinscher puppy and my next door neighbor say they were vicious animals and I have better watch the dog because if he saw anything he didn't like he would shoot her. I told if he did that I would shoot him. He never tried to shoot her but I found my doberman and my Irish setter both eating very thin camera flash bulbs. I will not go into any more details but there were both OK but my vet reported it to the prevention of cruelty to animals agency. I think it worked because I never had anymore trouble. You could try and make a report to an animal protection group.

Well it is a wake up call to you that you should be extra careful to your dogs otherwise you should trained them or someone to recognize the smell of these poisonous thing. I think you should not put them out unless you are around. \

I can't understand how some people are so callous.
In Melbourne we had a couple teenagers throw a Maltese/Poodle from a railway overpass just for laughs. The poor thing lay in agony for hours till someone heard it crying.

It depends on how much your dog ate. I recommend you take it to a doctor or veteran to have it examined.

well i had a chow that a freind had the dog catchers to get her while i was out of state and when i got bach i found all of this out by the time i got to the place that had my dog they had done put her to sleep

Forgive me, but what is an antifreeze. If it is a device or something that can potentially harm your dog, then definitely your neighbors put it there with the intention of harming or even killing two dogs. Some people can really go to great lengths just to be able to do crazy things. It's a good thing that you called the sheriff. At least they have been alerted just in case something bad really happens to your dogs.

Ugggghhhhh.....I get so mad when I hear about this kind of thing. I know it seems like you have no recourse, but I have read other people's comments about putting up a hidden camera, and I agree with them. I know it won't give you the satisfaction that you are seeking, since these people really did attempt to take your babies lives....but please put the camera up, WATCH your dogs, and be patient. If you catch these monsters on camera, it will be SOOOOO worth it.

You are right when you say that these dogs can be very good doggs. I had one for many years and she was the best dog in the world. She would not of hurt anyone. Anyhow I would suggest putting in one of those six foot privacy fences and if you can not afford that get some kind of survalience equipment. This can be gotten for fairly cheap. One time I just used my camcorder to catch some vandals as it had a motion sensor on it. If you can get them on tape doing something like this then you would be able to press charges against them. For now I would not let the little guy out alone.

U can complain to the pet concerning authorities of ur area and just get the proof of them attempting to kill the dog.. They are really very stupid doing such a thing . I think there may be some NGO's for pets welfare which can be contacted . If i was in ur position i would have really blasted my anger at my neighbours and make sure they forget about even getting near to my dog
