How do you fight for them? Would you consider yourself an activist?

i believe its important to be active about things we feel strongly about and not just leave it to other to deal with. for example, just because women have more rights now than they ever did, it doesn't mean we can forget about it... after all we are the ones enjoying the privileges for what they fought for :o) "my grandfather once told me that there were two types of people: those who do the work and those that take the credit, he told me to try and be in the first group; there was much less competition." --gandhi

I have very strong opinions. I also have a great pereption of others feelings. I do like to argue my point if I don't think one understands. If put in a situation to fight I will! I prefer to allow all things to meld in thier own way. They say that two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.;]

Man there are so many. Let's see civil rights are top of the list along with improved public education. Women's rights. Then there are child's rights as well as parents rights. I fight against pollution. Do you I consider myself an activist no I would say that :-)

Environmental issues. I think it affects everybody, and the poor will suffer the most from crop loss and flooding.

I am very pro-active for animal rights; to be more specific or the ethical and humane treatment of feral cats and TNR. Feral cats have a bad rep all over the world; they are seen are a nuisance that should be rid of. Only problem is throughout history these cats were once owned by people who decided to release these cats outdoors unsterilized and so began the feral cat colonies. They are balmed for the decline of bird population (as if man isn't doing its part in estroying natural habitats), people hate them because htey roam free on their properties. They are the targets of speed freaks on roads, hunters, and even scientists i Australia who have designed a sausage bait using a toxin that was used in WW1 to eradicate feral cat colonies. Laws are passed that people seen feeding colonies can be fined and even beleive it or not jailed. I have written books, have a website dedicated to feral cats, set up booths every year on IFCD, help others with advice or help in trapping feral cats to be spayed and neutered, I do rescue and adoption of some of these cats and on and on LOL.

Liberty, the environment, quality of life, against crime and corruption especially amongst those with positions of power. For peace. I am TECHNICALLY an activist, but since I'm young and can't get around alot I don't normally consider myself such. Mainly my activism is online...that is, I work to inform the mass poplace and other activists of stuff they should think about or know. Most of my info comes from more reliable sources like other activists, alternative news websites, and those who gleen the mainstream for stuff that matters.

I would never consider myself an Activist per sey, but one thing I consider in life worth fighting for is Freedom of Religion, and medical care. We here in the United States have become so lax when it comes to Health Care, and you often wonder sometimes in some ways if we are not going backwards instead of forwards when it comes to Medical care as a whole. I feel it is time for someone to step in there and offer better Health care to where people can afford to find the best doctors out there to suit their medical needs.
