i think I was disowned when I was born, honestly. My mom had very few pictures of me a s a baby. she has tons of my other sisters. all of my other sisters got cars when they lived at home and their drivers license accept for me. no one in my family is like me accept for my day and he passed away back in 1985. now that i am older i have pretty much disowned my family because of they way they disowned me. i really dont think any of them realize what they have made me become. but in my mind i feel they disowned me first so i dont waist much time going out of my way for them any more either. do you know why you were disowned? i just never felt like i fit in. i was an outcast around all of them accept dad. how are you coping in life? i take each day as it comes and just pray to get through the next one when it comes. best wishes.

there are many reasons that I can think of. "I'm a handful" But all of the reasons that I can think of are probably not the reason they disowned me. My life is going really well now. I'm glad that they are not around, life was hard when we co-existed togeather.

My husband has been disowned by his older brother for quitting high school 14 years ago. They still haven't mended their ways. My husband has the same attitude as you, it doesn't matter. My husband has a great job, a great wife (he he)and beautiful son. We don't have lot of material things, but what we lack in money, we make up for in blessings! good luck to you.

So have I when I made the decision at 21 years of age to move out of state for grad school. It's truly ridiculous since I'm an adult

I never understood that. You are their child. They raised you and you made your own decisions. How can they disown you for a decision you made based on what they taught you? I could never disown my own child. That to me is not an option. if he make a mistake I will stand by him no matter what. No one is perfect and everyone will make a mistake. The question is can they learn from it and move on with their life?
