Ok my dog is weird

Are you having a funny day or what??? Cause that just sounds so funny!!! It really isn't my dog, but she does do weird stuff...like when we close the back door to outside, she is right there wanting to go out, but as soon as I close it so that my son doesn't try to go out there also, she is right there back at the door wanting in. And then, because we are trying to expand the patio we had to make the ground level, and it crossed over into her pooing grounds...so she starts pooing in the kitchen because we chopped up some of her area--I think that was actually more out of anger than anything. Also, she always runs away from my youngest son who will not hurt a fly, but because she doesn't want him to "hurt" her (I guess that is what it is), she will move from where ever she is (which is usually on the couch) circles around the coffee table, and as soon as she sees he is gone she gets right back up there...then as soon as he comes back she's gone again...this usually goes on for about 5 minutes or until I officially boot her silly butt off of the couch. Then she goes and lays in front of the t.v until he goes after her there. I must say, it may not compare to your dog, but this one sure is the strangest and most pathetic that I have ever come across yet.

Oh my God, my two dogs do the same thing and it's so annoying!! I always think they have to go potty, but they just stick their heads out the door and grab a peace of snow, which they then take inside the house and make a mess as it melts! Now, I check at what time i sent them out last, and if it's less than 1 hour, I don't open the door for them. We gotta put limits no? Good luck with your snow eating dog! LOL

Just wondering if there might be a logical explanation for that. Do you have city water (chemically treated to purity), well water (which might have a sulfur taste) or a water softener (which leaves a salty taste)? Or maybe she just likes cold water, lol. My one cat prefers to drink her water from the tub, of all things. There is a slow drip that I haven't fixed yet, and I'm always finding her in the tub with her catching the water in her mouth as it comes out of the tap. It's the same water that goes into her bowl, so who knows why she does it! Animals do some pretty whacky stuff, don't they?!

Not that I know of all my pets are inside pets so they dont go outside. I havent noticed anythign weird.

No, I think your dogs just wierd!!:) -just kidding!- I have several different animals and each has thier own quirks. Enjoy the humor in it!!LOL
