i HAVE to ask this..it has been bugging me fellow Mylotters..

Although I'm new here and I don't remember reading anything in the posts about sabotage. I'm not saying that it hasn't happened for one reason or another, but I haven't heard anything specifically. I also am sure that it would be very easy for someone to go around giving negative responses because they aren't happy with things here for what ever reason. I would hope thought that mylot would be keeping an eye out for anyone using the negative rating button more than usual. Good luck to you here at mylot!

I think there is always someone out there to hurt someone else no matter what you do. I know that there is never a time I feel safe doing anything. You always have to watch your back at all times it seems.

Oh yes, it's happened to me. I really don't bother to bite my tongue or couch my opinions any, and I've pissed people off that decided to lash out at me by rating everything I posted with a negative. Of course, I've also had entire discussions devoted to how mean and cruel and evil I am. I knew when the rating system was implemented that this would be a problem. I just laugh when it happens to me, because I find it so ridiculous.

yeah i think its happening..one of my mylot friend star rating goes down from 8 to 7.his discussion getting good response and he make good post.don't know how it gone down.i have noticed many people don't bother to rate the post if there discussion get high response.even my star rating is not going up.i wonder,if one is rating my post or not.anyways now i always watch my word and i ignore to post the harsh truth.

I haven't been here long enough to hear about anything like that, but I'm sure it's happened. It happens everywhere else on the web where people can rate. It's too bad that people think they're going to benefit by downrating other members.

If this happens, i think we can report to mylot staff for investigation.
