I think my dog is going to poop a rainbow!!!! |
| |
| I think most of us knows the Skittles slogan, "Skittles, taste the rainbow."But my dog has taken a liking to something else that makes him poop a rainbow. What is it?.....CRAYONS!!!! Sure I have told the kids to put their crayons up and have picked them up myself! But I have discovered that he finds a way! We have the three tier toys organizer for the small toys including the crayons. But the little booger has learned to stretch himself when no one is looking to get a crayon. Now, of course poor G.I.Joe and his buddies have had their heads chewed off or Barbie is missing a hand or foot too. But he is a puppy and things like this happen. So, periodically, he gets to notice that no one is watching and he goes through the toy boxes to see what interests him. And recently....it has been crayons! Purple, red, blue, green, yellow, and even those crazy colors like strawberry red. LOL Now, I know some crayons are named after food, like macaroni and cheese. But he can't read and he shouldn't be eating crayons! So, I think that he is trying to accomplish pooping a rainbow! So, what does your dog like to eat just as you turn your back? What is the strangest thing your dog has eaten? | | click to enlarge | | | | |

| | Hmmm...what a great description! Maybe he wants to taste the rainbow. Or, maybe they taste good. Have you ever tried them? Younger children like them also. LOL I think that the strangest thing that my/our dog has eaten out be Grub worms, pool table, papazon, rug/carpet, and recently my things that I had on my wall! The little booger!! I was sssooo mad, but it wasn't his fault, he's a puppy! :D But, hey that is why we have doggy chew toys for them. And, those are just a few things chewed up by our dogs. :DD LOL | | | | | | |

| | Oh no! I am soooo sorry your wires got chewed! I have been constantly worried that our puppy with do that too. And since he got a hold of my headphones while I was in the shower...I have been even more worried that he might take a liking to chewing wirees too. | | | |

| | Heheh I've had some dogs that love crayons as well, not sure why but they will chew them up if they can get to them. Our dog right now likes to chew on blankets but only ones that have a hole in them already. She likes to make holes bigger, she did that with one couch we had too that had a hole on the side. The strangest thing I had wasn't with a dog though, it was with a cat. He ate bengay, go figure that one cause I couldn't. He would lick it off us when we had it on. | | | | | | |

| | We don't have dogs, just cats, I actually caught my youngest cat playing with a piece of polystyrene which she had found somewhere outside, you've never seen me so frantic trying to get it off her, as polystyrene is lethal. When I was kid I had a dog, and he used to eat brussel sprouts, crisps, and cheese, but thankfully never got hold of anything like crayons or bits of my action men. But he did cry and pester mum when she was peeling brussel sprouts which I thought was extremely funny. | | | | | | |

| | Wow you have a very active dog don't you? While the image of dog poop is not exactly a pleasant one the idea of him having a rainbow one made me laugh. I do not remember if my dog used to eat weird things. I am sure that she did but that I just did not notice. | | | | | | |

| | ha ha ha, you poor dog. I hope that he is okay. I am lucky my dog doesn't really eat any thing other than food, but now my parents dog that is a totally different story. She has eatehe following: The skirt off of here recliner A full roll of toilet paper The linolium off of the kitechen floor. The carpet in the living room. A pop can 4 collector item star trek chocolate bars and last but not least... A razor blade. The dong is crazy. But like I said luckily my dog doesn't do this kind of stuff. | | | | | | |

| | Blimey, I do hope he's not been making himself ill with such a range of unpalatable foods .. have you tried feeding him ?? (Just teasing) .. I sometimes think small pets are worse to look after than young children .. at least they all seem to have the same perverse interest in things that will potentially do them harm, like electric cables, chewing small plastic toy parts, sucking coloured pencils and such like .. When my Basenji had puppies I had to tie all the low level kitchen cupboard doors shut .. remove all small things from below 3 feet high and still the little terrors would find something they shouldn't have .. | | | | | | |

| | I hear ya! Puppies find ways to get things and you are left wondering how they got them! I am waiting for him to shock himself by biting a electric cord. I am sure it will just give him a jolt enough to teach him not to do that again. But thankfully, he has not tried that yet. I have tied up and moved what I can. So, I think I am puppy safe...until he learned how to stretch his hound body. hahaha | | | |

| | I have a Beagle who eats crayons!! It is the funniest thing to see technicolor poops! LOL He also eats really disgusting things too, and it is really frustrating. See we are on septic, so I can't flush, well feminine products. . . yeah, then I find them all over the house cause he goes through the trash. SO not cool! And he treats the litter box as if it is a buffet table. . .gotta love animals huh? | | | | | | |

| | HaHa..poop a rainbow. I got a visual and it was neat! Our dog has a strange fondness for the t*rds from the cat's litterbox! We even tried (after putting on gloves) taking out a t*rd and sprinkling red pepper flakes and tabassco sauce on it. The dog later ate it, licked his chops and dug around in the litterbox looking for more! I asked the vet about it, he says it is a common problem. According to the vet, the cat food comes through only partially digested and my dog tastes the cat food in the t*rd. When the dog is loose in the house we have to put the cat's litterbox up on a tall place. | | | | | | |

| | our dog does the same. We have a little maze in front of the cat box that the cat can get through but the dog's too big for. I found out our dog has the same attraction for horse manure once when we were hiking on a trail where horses go. The worst part about the whole thing is the horrible breath it gives my dog! Ewww! | | | |
