5 Songs That Make You Happy  

1. Happy Together, by the Turtles, it was very popular when I was with this guy I really liked; 2) Somewhere Over the Rainbow by this now deceased very large Hawaiian singer (I cannot pronounces his name)..it's just one of the happiest songs I've ever listened to; 3) Say it With Love, by the Moody Blues, because it's so easy to really do that; 4) that Van Morrison song, Moondance, because I've actually done that; 5) On the Road to Find Out, by Cat Stevens, because I love that film "Harold and Maude."

goldfinger--99 ballons, good cover of this song goldfinger ups the beat and makes u want to jump around to the new beat
nonpoint--in the air tonight, good cover of the phil collins song this band gives it more umphff so u want to jump around.
jonathan davis--forsaken, jonathan davis vocal version is the best cuz it gives the vampire song its umphff

well i wont name any particular as there r many to mention .....but altogether music makes me happy.

1. She-Wolf - MEGADETH (because i am a part of the she-wolf clan on the megadeth forums and i love it.

2. Precious Things (live version) - TORI AMOS (because it sends a chill down my spine every time i hear it, and i realise just how tallented she is, and that i will never get to that level of piano playing no matter how hard i try)

3. Born - NEVERMORE (this is just a killer heavy metal song, and it showcases Jeff Loomis's guitar playing and song writing abilities better than any other nevermore song in my opinion)

4. Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son - IRON MAIDEN (it's just so catchy, and it changes enough so you never get bored with it in the 9 minutes it goes for)

5. The Jester's Dance - IN FLAMES (it's got a classical side to it's melody that is just brilliant, but it stays pure metal and it's my fave song of theirs and i love to mosh around my lounge room to it)

It's really hard to choose just 5 songs when my life revolves around music hehe.

1) "Everything", Sleater-Kinney
This song is my anthem. It's a "I want to do so I'm going to and you can't make me stop, suckers!" type of song, and the drumming is fantastic.

2) "Between the Bars", Elliott Smith
Just a sweet love song that should be depressing but isn't.

3) "Summer", Sarah Dougher
I just like this song because I do. Plus, Professor Dougher teaches classes at my university.

4) "Naked Eye", Luscious Jackson
First song I was ever hooked on.

5) "I Wanna Be Sedated", the Ramones
I could put "the collective works of the Ramones" here, but that would be cheating. This is another anthem for me.
