How Are You At Crossword Puzzles?

i admit that im not that good in crosswords puzzle but i know i have the capabilities of answering it!...i've answers so many crosswords in the newpapers!...it's a past time habit for me!...sometimes, i need to use the dictionary to know the answer!...

I am just like you!! I seldom get them, or even ANY of the words!! I wish I could help, but you might have a point there with that quick mind thingy.... :)

I actually really enjoy doing crossword puzzles. When I was younger I could whip right through them. But, that was because I did them regularly. Now that I have started doing them again, I have found that it takes me much longer. Pick up a crossword puzzle dictionary. After awhile you will find you won't need it so often. Even my mother uses one, and she has been doing crossword puzzles for as long as I can remember.

It usally takes me awhile but I have fun figuring them out.

I'm just average when it comes to crossword puzzles. There are times when I can complete one, yet there are times when I can't even guess a single word. =D

I've never completed a single crossword puzzle! Im amazed at how fast some people do it. Others may take a while to finish, but they still get to complete the puzzle. I wonder, when will I finish my first crossword puzzle?

Crosswords either tend to appeal to you or not, and it makes a vast difference to the result. i have always been a crossword fan, although I have rather let the habit slide over the past few years. Most crosswords are quite easy once you become accustomed to the compiler's way of thinking, so trying a new crossword is often harder than the ones that you fill in regularly.

I dont do them so well but I like them to stir my brain cells. Dont feel dumb it is a way of thinking is all. We dont all fit that way of using our cells.

I do work them from time to time. The more you do the better you get if you stick with it. I work all the ones I know across first, then work the ones I know down. Then check back and see if what is filled in helps me to figure out the ones I don't know. I ask others in the house if I am stuck and sometimes they do help. I much prefer word finds. Both these kinds of puzlles help keep your mind sharper and the connections active.

If you did it regularly you would realized, that most of them has the same questions :) So after a while you would have enough experiences. I know it, because there was a time when I did a lot too, and I remebered them. Also the people who compiles them has not endless knowless neither, so earlier or later you would know them too from the crossword.

I'm horrible at Crosswords!haha I would love to be able to do them but its freakin hard!haha

I love doing crosswords! I can finish some, but not the tough ones, like the NY Times crossword, I've never finished one of those!

I'm not good with puzzles either. I find it easier doing sudoku - maybe because i prefer numbers as opposed to letters, who knows!

I have loved crosswords since I was young, but now I find it hard to find any that are challenging. However, I LOVE cryptic crosswords. Most of those are too easy, but when I can get hold of the London Times cryptics, I have a ball. Some of those are quite difficult. Some people say you need to have a weird mind to solve cryptic crosswords, so maybe I'm a weirdo!

I never finished a cross word puzzle in my life. Not even the small ones from the news paper. I'm just not that good with words I think.

I can usually do about 1/2 of a crossword puzzle. I once knew a guy that could complete the daily puzzle in the paper within 30 minutes. It was absolutely amazing to me. Sometimes, I cheat. I have a crossword dictionary type of book that my dad bought me. I think it just takes practice and a wide range of general knowledge.
