An Inconvenient Truth...

I started to watch the movie, and I liked what it had to say, except it couldn't hold my attention long enough at night. I do think that global warming is becoming an issue that I'll have to deal with in my lifetime, so I am going to learn more about it. I drive too and recycle some, but not enough.

Personally, I thought the movie was a load of bull. For every "scientific fact" he mentioned, there are three scientists who refute it. The fact that Gore's movie is up for an Oscar is even more insulting to people's intelligence. Both of y'all just said you were bored nearly to tears, and yet engaging movies that people wanted to see over and over got passed up for oscar nominations because of that inconvenient travesty. Global Warming may come to pass. But it's not going to be america's fault. There are 70-some other countries with much laxer emmission control standards, without recycling programs, who still use leaded gasoline. Unless the USA can bring every third world country up to technolocical speed, the global warming battle will be lost overseas. Here, we've got it licked. But over there...
If you want to prevent global warming, then USA needs to attack and annex all of Africa and South America. Give the world our emmissions standards.

Boooooring...and how can you prove it is true???? there are other scientist with their own charts that could make a movie showing Al Gore's findings are not true...who are you to believe?..him just because he sounds like he is doing something for the good?

I just watched the movie and found it interesting. I'm not into documentary movies as well, but it had some surprising information regarding global warming. There are many ways we can help with the environment. Check out www.climatecrisis.org

The movie was a bit slow, but I enjoyed the information. I knowa poster above me said that there are scientists to refute it but that doesn't mean anything.
Everytime something comes up thereare always people ready in the wind to refute it. It happens with every discovery so I don't pay attention to all that. I make my own decision.
The only thing I hated about the movie was that he was going on about reducing fuel and oil use and drive better cars.... As he is rolling around in a limo.
Limos are not great with gas and certainly are not environmentally friendly.
