I sewed another apron

That is wonderful. I love aprons. I wear one any time I am in my kitchen. I love baby quilts too. You must be very talented. Do you hand piece the quilts or machine sew them?

Isn't it wonderful when we have a goal and a purpose. I know I love to feel busy. I wish I was good with my hands though, I can't really knit or sew. I write and that is how all my passion comes out. My fiance paints.

Great idea to recycle your old clothing and making something practical from the material. I know people that will cut old clothing into squares for a quilt. I tried doing that, but realized quickly that quilting is not for me.

Fantastic job! and a fortunate daughter to have such a talented mother. Aprons are making a comeback as I think also the homesteading crafts are. Such a frugal and creative idea you have there to recycle a skirt that can no longer be worn. Brava for you!

Oh my goodness, what a grand idea to recycle a skirt into an apron!! That is gorgeous..almost too pretty to spill or soil with cooking! Ha! I am amazed, I would never have thought of turning a little used skirt into an apron. That tells you something about my creativity...I was behind the door when God was handing out creativity. Kudos to you!

What an excellent idea! I would never have thought about using old skirts or dresses to make an apron out of. Oh boy! I am off to check my closets! I did once make a apron out of an old pair of over-alls. I did it for my daughter who had a "paint" project to do at school. I had not given any more thought to recycling old clothes since then.
I did try the cutting them up to make quilt squares, and then decided I was not talented enough for quilting,so some of the squares I crocheted a border around and used them as dollies..lol
