Faithful Dog Guards Injured Owner!  

That can be a good or bad thing, good as the animal was really loyal, bad cause it could have injured someone trying to protect her or have waisted valuable time on the owners rescue. Of course the dog was just trying to protect the owner and it can't tell who's good or bad. I hope both of them are in the safe zone, I'd hate the owner to die and maybe the dog be put down for trying to protect the owner as it might get misinterpreted.

Pets are quite remarkably loyal to their owners. I am glad that they officers were able to get the dog away from his owner so she could get care.

Once again it is proven that there is nothing like a dog for unconditional love, loyalty and protection.

I have heard wonderful stories of pets saving their owners lives and protecting them. We had a collie dog when I was growing up. All 6 of us kids were walking up the hill to the mail box and my uncle came flying down the hill in his truck. We had a long steep drive way. It was not very wide. Our collie got in the middle of the road and stayed there till all of us kids got out of the road. Dogs are wonderful pets and protectors.

Awww that poor dog. I mean he was trying to protect his owner. THat is great but yes it could be bad if they dog does not know that people are there to help too. Very cute story tho.

I heard one time that a pet pig saved her master. The owner had passed out in the house or something like that. The pig ran outside trying to get help. No one would stop so the pig ran out and laid in the road as if dead. Then one car stopped a man got out and the pig got up and lorred the man in the house to help her master. I love animals stories.

dogs are really faithful animals.but the faithfulness of the dog in your story does not benefit the injured owner. had the dog allowed the driver to come near the injured woman and bring her to the hospital, the woman's life may have been not in a critical condition now. the faithfulness of the dog, prevented the immediate help that could have been extended to the injured owner. this only goes to show that dogs no matter how faithful they are, dont think the way humans do, and are irrational beings.

I think its wonderful that the dog was and is so loyal to its owner, especially while she was hurt.

At the same time, depending on how long it took the police to lure the dog away, it could have cost this lady her life.

I hope she survives this accident. It would be a wonderful thing for her to make it through and know that her dog stood guard over her to protect her from any more harm.

What a loyal dog. I'm glad the police managed to get the dog away without thinking that they had to kill it. Some police around here would think that way. I once had a cat and we nicknamed her the get well kitty. Whenever someone was sick she would either lay next to them or on them. I remember being sick once and sleeping on the couch. I woke up and there she was laying right next to me. It was the sweetest thing.
