I just ordered the new book of the month from Billygraham.org
It is "Lessons I learned in the Dark" by Jennifer Rothschild. If you've ever heard Jennifer speak, you'll know that this book is awesome. She lost her sight as a teenager from a rare disease.
I heard her speak at Women of Faith a couple of years ago. She is wonderful.

I just had to find it since I am still reading the Beth Moore book but that story was hillarious. I have almost gone into the mens room not thinking. Because most wal-marts are the same but one store we went into was totally the opposite. thankfully my husband stopped me.

If you ever have a chance to hear her speak...you should. All I can say is take the kleenex if you are a crier. ( I am)
This book is just an asesome reminder that the dark is temporary, but God's light is eternal!

I have not visited the Billy Graham website for awhile, perhaps I will wonder on over. I have not heard of this lady before ,but her book does sound interesting . I have heard of Women of Faith Conferences and read books by those who are authors but I have not had the privilege of attending on of the conferences .

She went blind at like 16 or 17 from a degenerative eye disease. She knew before it happened that it would be permanent. She is an amazing woman, now married with two beautiful little boys. She sings and speaks at conferences all over the place and has written two books. I wholly recommend both of them...and picking up her cd.

Well...yes and no. LOL
All of us sing. My son won't but can.
Both of my daughter's have beautiful voices and are in show/traveling choirs at school and involved in drama.
My husband sings in a southern gospel quartet and I can hold my own against them all.
But, not we are not related to karen and whatever her brother's name was...that I know of anyway.
