Does anyone still use the old fashioned alarm clock?  

I don't have the luxury you have, Mr Modern Caveman. :P

I still rely on my good old alarm clockS. And yes, the alarm in my mobile phone too. :P

I used to set my alarm clock on my phone, but it just lulled me to sleep. So i bought an alarm clock that rings like a classroom buzzer. The same happened. I can't wake up when the alarm goes off. Good thing, though, that my work starts at 2pm. It's too hot to sleep at high noon, so I wake up sweating at 11 am. I have never been late.

i use to use the alarm clock during my school and college days. i still have that old clock with radium numbered but it just tik-tocks on my TV. but now things have changed with family and the responsibilities, i get up at 5.30 am without the aid of any clock or mobile.

Me I have never had to use an alarm clock to get up I tell myself at night I need to be up by a certian time and I just wake up. I do have 2 alarm clocks. I got a wind up and an electric one with a battery back up in case the power goes out.Thanks for sharing hope you have a great day/evening.

My aloarm clock is sort of old fashioned, it looks like a proper one with the bell on the top but it makes a mooing noise and runs on batteries.
My boyfriend had the electric clock radio, tape player he had a t college 14 years ago at his side of the bed, well it doesn't look cool anymore but it works, lol.

yes we do. It was a gift from my son to us so that we will wake them up early to school. It was made in china and made of stainless steel. The whole neighborhood wakes up when it alarms. Nobody is complaining because most have kids to wake up to school.

I still use the alarm clock, in fact its the one my hubby brought the first time he came to the US 7 years ago..:) IT is still working and in excellent condition so we have never thought of buying another one. My hubby uses the alarm more than me. When we have to wake up early to go on trips, he sets the alarm on his cellphone too, 10 minutes later than the alarm clock, so in case we fail to wake up with the alarm, the cellphone is sure to get us out of bed..hehe

I rarely use an alarm these days, but when I do have the need to be sure I am awake, I use my cell phone alarm. It really works great and you don't have to worry about the power going off in the night and losing your alarm. There isn't a sound that I detest more than the sound of an electric alarm clock or the beep, beep, beep of the alarm on a clock radio. Now, waking to music is not too bad. It isn't so jarring on the nerves. I really just prefer to awake naturally.

Hello.An old alarm clock its funny and its not for me . Nowadays we can use the moder one!

I used to, but now I use my cellphone. It was a ore annoying sound so there is now way I'm not getting up.
But old clock alarms have their charm, and probably I will buy a new one when I move from my parents.
