astonishing topic starter that never replies back..did this happen to you here?

there are alot of reasons for it happend to you. and i am sure you posted quality postings. it happens to all of us. you are new here so you might think that there is somthing wrong with your posts. there isn't before i add people as my friend i like to see how they respond and what posts they are usually opening and you are o.k. buddy. but you do check for responses to your posts..i am talking about people who never check it nor respond to responses of their posts.

i am glad to here that and i do hope you will come visiting here sometime you will enkpy it and you are very welcome here:)

Thanks for your re-assurance. As far as possible, I try to check for people's responses and reply to their responses unless I have nothing else to say or add. Furthermore, I will also rate their responses. BTW, thanks for adding me as your friend. Israel is one country which I dream of visiting one day.

I'm sorry if I missed the subject. Here's my point.. I am disheartened by the fact that most of the discussions that I believed was interesting never drew any comments from the topic starter, but I also understand why most of them do this. Most of them prefer to rate us than commenting, to keep their time here and spend it more wisely.

i really understand this but i do not agree with only rating lthaugh i understand their reasons for doing so but i did talk about the more redical cases i think we all plan our time and try to give whatever we can..but those people do not respond at all..

i can believe that this is the situation somtimes but i am talking about people that i can promise you spend alote of time with creating those interesting quality posts and then do not ever come back to check what is going on.

don't worry it isn't addresed to you nor any of my fraind's that ar responding here suddenly all of you got worried..lol if i am going to have trouble with one of you i will send a private messege..i did try it with those people i am talking about but they did not respond..how surprising so i decided to open a post about it and hear your opinion.

no my dear wizard i am not talking about you if i had any problem with you i would tell you that in a private messege..don't worry:) yes..but there are such wonderful topics there i do not understand why the people that started them do not go on with the discussions it could be so interesting and they'll have so many new people to respond to them and know them.

Hoho, I am glad! If you have that I have been missing your discussions for a long time, then you better pm me. It might be one of those infamous myLot glitch that turns auto notification to off. I got many of those last time and I have to keep turning on till I was totally fed up. :P I don't like these people too. I check back on some discussions - they have many responses - quality ones too, and I was hoping to find a comment for my response only to see nothing. I checked the pages and find that no comment was given to anyone. I just mark such people off my "quality answer" list. There are people whom I know take my answers seriously so I try to put more effort if time allows. For the rest, I just drop a 3-liner for my own post count and earnings. They don't deserve a quality answer - they won't read my answers anyway so why would I waste unnecessary time? :P

In that case, I guess yes this is wrong, because that only prove that the person issimply not reading what other have respond.

so if i ask him a question in my response to one of his posts and he does not go back and answer..it is o.k.?

i don't know.maybe. but it is written in mylot rules so they should read it.

Maybe they don't realize that it's expected? Or they think that they don't get anything from answering so don't "waste" their time? I don't know. I usually answer posts, unless there really isn't anything to add.

i am glad you are here with us at mylot erilyn there are always circumstances we can't control and i am sure people do understand:)

people here are not looking at this as is wasting their time. they do welcome every person here and even if he is new. if his topic is interesting they would response. it would be interesting looking back at their replies..maybe there were good and interesting responses that can lead to a good discussion..don't you think?:)

i started doing the same thing claudia. it's a shame they act this way eventually they lose more then they gain..

i understand what you are saying but why are we at mylot? how do we create a discussion? it is not possible to just post and never go back and do a bit that there will be a continious discussion of your post..i am not talking about every response i am aware of all of the things..and i do am not able to respond to everyone..but what about not responding to anyone in your post..what about if the discussion get's stuck..they don't help here..
