Favorite Lines From Movies  |

 I was just wondering what is your favorite line or saying from a movie--it could be any movie--but it's just one of those sayings that sticks in your mind--from classics like "Here's looking at you kid." or "Play it again Sam"--anything that you just can't get out of your mind.
Mine is from Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship of the RIng, which IS an actual line from Tolkien's book, rather something made up by the scriptwriters...

One is from the movie Masterminds "You know, I'm not a violent man but I really do think I'm going to have to kill someone here". Another is from Elvira "If I want your opinion I'll beat it out of ya." Then there is one from Pretty Woman "Big, huge mistake. I have to go shopping now". My last favorite one is from Steele Magnolias, "I'm not crazy M'lynn. I've just been in a very bad mood for 40 years."
Heheh they all make me smile.

| pyewacket (7842) | 1 year ago | Maybe because I was thinking of Steel Magnolias, which had Julia Roberts in it that I thought of another line from another movie with her in it...and I thought of it because I had read somethiing so funny I almost actually did this...Remember in Pretty Woman..Richard Gere's character takes her to the opera...she gets so emotion over the opera and loves it..at the end of it, an older woman asks her if she liked the opera..and Julia Roberts character says.something.."I liked it so much I nearly peed in my pants..."--Okay not a great momentous line but memorable | |

I love the movie Pretty Woman. It has a lot of great lines and scenes in it. | |

Over the Hedge - But I like the cookie! (Poor Hammy!)
Finding Nemo - Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming, what could you do, just swim, swim, swim! SWIMMING! SWIMMING! (OK, it is a song Dorey sings but it really does get stuck in your head!)
Princess Bride - As....you....wish!! Or Inconceivable!
Polar Express - I didn't do it! (rewind) I didn't do it!
Happy Feet - Don't push me cause I'm coming close to the edge, I'm trying not to loose my head. (ok, another song...but really, most of the movie is a song!)
Terminator - I'll be back. (Poor governor will never live down that line!)
16 Candles - Ahhhh sexy girl friend!!!!
Ice Age - Why am I the poop checker?
Forrest Gump - My momma always said life was like a box of chocolates…you never know what you're gonna get. Or Run Forrest! Run!
Poltergeist - TV people?*nods head* Do you see them? Uh uh. Do you?*Shakes head slowly no*
6th Sense - I see dead people.
OK, that is all I can think of right now.:)
And truly...I do not watch a lot of TV. LOL
