It's just fun to listen to. Of course it was 1969 and it was becoming ever more popular to do the weed. I'm not really sure if it was weed this song is about but it certainly wasn't anything legal....

It was 40 years ago that Neil Armstrong and Edwin Eugene 'Buzz' Aldrin, Jr became the first humans to walk the face of the moon. Michael Collins manned and orbited above in the Apollo 11 spacecraft.
