We have a carpet in the centre of the hall which sort connects the sitting area, the entertaining area and the dining area.
It has started raining and so we always roll the carpet and put it back once the monsoon season ends....

We have this nice IKEA kids carpet which is lovely. The edge occasionally curls up like in the picture and we can to straighten it out. When it is curled up, it is a tripping risk.

Yes, I spent most of yesterday trapped in the kitchen. Of course I planned ahead and had my computer and camera with me. And of the three bathrooms we had access to one so all was well for the most part.
