Do You Need a Good Listener(s)?

Many of us I guess prefer to be a speaker, adviser, talker, and so on. We lack of good listener actually. This brings me to question, do you need any good listener(s) in life, guys?

I wish my English were as good as my hangout buddies. I feel inferior whenever we hold a conversation in English. I can't keep up with them. It makes me down. Can you suggest some strategies to cope with my weakness?...
