Today, I didn't feel like making a big dinner. So, I fixed deluxe cheeseburgers for our evening meal.
We also had baked beans, which Jay really loves. For a green vegetable we had steamed broccoli/cauliflower.
It was a delicious...

Tonight for supper we had barbecued chicken and baked beans. For a veggie I made some cauliflower, the frozen type. We think the frozen veggies taste better than the canned vegetables.
It was delicious! Am I a good cook? No, I...

When it comes to baked beans I can say only one thing. I love them. Despite that, I don't eat them as often as you would think a guy who loves them would.
But they are good.
My preference? Bush's. But they are...

We have had a very quiet and relaxing day today. We did sleep in but that was more because Duke was inside last night. I spent most of the day watching television, on myLot, and cooking.
I put a pork loin in the slow cooker...

I got off easy tonight with no cooking. We had a couple chicken breasts left over from last night so we decided to eat that since we are leaving early Saturday and don't want to leave food in the refrigerator that will spoil.
We...

I have been having a little discussion with @NJChicaa about some of our British foods and one thing she made me smile about was the British obsession with Baked Beans. Some people eat them all the time. I laughed when she said she...

I always keep some kind of meat around the house. Sometimes it's lox. Sometimes it's sliced chicken. Sometimes it's just classic hot dogs from Safeway.
I had some baked beans from Trade Joe's that I wanted to try, so I scored...

I suppose everyone is familiar with Mr Heinz's Baked Beans [in Tomato Sauce]. They are so familiar that many people don't realise that beans can be - and originally were - cooked without any tomato at all.
I have wanted to cook...
