Should children in their adolescent periods allowed to sleep with parents?

In India there are many urbanised places and rural places have 2 bedroom flats or 1 bed room houses. So many children in their adolescent periods sleep with their parents. But is it desirable?

am about 6 feet tall, but whenever am sleeping in my bedroom in the school Hostel, my legs tends to stretch out, and that makes me feel uncomfortable, i guess maybe am taller than the bed.
