Two days ago when we were driving to see my sister, a stone hit our windscreen, chipping it quite badly.
Apparently, if the chip is very slight, the professionals can fill the chip and repair it that way, rather than replacing...

Yes, shattered is the condition of one of my 9x13 glass baking dishes. I was going to make Rice Krispy treats in it, but knowck it off the top of my stove. It hit my tile floor. That was it.
It must be made of some safety type...

Here's a photo from outside of my new picture window I had installed
yesterday (Thur). Seems during shipping the outside glass sustained a
crack but not a break. So they said it would be 2 weeks for a new sheet
of glass etc...

I really can't remember. I think last time we used painters tape (the blue stuff) but I remember my Dad always using masking tape. I think the masking tape dried out very quickly and leaves marks on the windows though.
