After reading some articles, i plan to donate my expecting baby's cord blood instead of storing it, since there is no study that confirmed the ill baby could use back their own cord blood to produce the stem cells effectively....

I have heard this twice now. Yesterday I was watching discovery health and they were saying that you can donate the babys cord blood to save a life. I really want to look into this. Has anyone ever donated their baby's cord blood?...

Did you bank your child's cord blood? What were your reasons for choosing to do it, or choosing Not to do it? I didn't get the chance to do it, because my little girl was born 7 weeks early, and we didnt get to get the paper work...
