my dad wants to buy a fortuner. my mom doesn't want to, because we're on a tight budget.
thing is, it's not the price of the vehicle that's bothering my mom. it's the gas consumption.

I thought I'd try some techniques of hypermiling--not the dangerous or inconsiderate ones, but coasting whenever I can and taking my foot off the gas when I see a light turn red way up ahead.
It took a lot of self discipline...

I think it is a great goal to reduce our oil consumption by 20% in the next ten years and try to focus on more domestic energy, but can it really happen? I am optimistic about this idea, as it would produce better a cleaner...
