The new house is in an older part of the town, and lots of Southern Oaks. We have Doves, and Wrens mostly, but saw a Murder of Crows yesterday, and a Hawk. We have 3 cats that come to visit.
I took my walker and went in the back...

Hawks win, and oh my was it a good game. 3-2 was the score.
The last 2 minutes were a nail bitter again. The hawks were the 12th seed and beat the 5th seed. They will go on to play either the Colorado Avalanche or the Vegas...

I was Photographing this red tailed Hawk.
it was a nice sunny day.
he looked fine, normal..
I had my camera set so it would snap a few pictures in a burst..
I had one with him looking fine with his back toward me and next...

This photo is of a squirrel feasting on an acorn in our backyard. Ace came to me very upset about this. I am upset, too. What is the point of hosting a hawk in your woods if he is going to let every Chip and Dale and Rocky parade...

This squirrel had some bad timing, coming down the tree right in front of one of the hawks. And, that hawk did notice.

It was a little foggy out when I went for my walk this morning. But, I did get to see a few of my regular critters, including the pair of hawks that frequent the park up the street.
