A free wife that is. I just came across this. Apparently house sales in China are so slow that developers are offering wealthy buyers a wife to go with the new house. and I thought that I'd seen it all. Read the story here....

It looks like we won't be refinancing our house any time soon

We really wanted to take advantage of the low interest rates going on now and refinance our house. We have a main mortgage and a home equity loan. We wanted to consolidate them and have just one loan, and a lower combined rate....
