Is "Zathura: A Space Adventure" really supposed to a be related to Jumanji. Wikipedia said it's a prequel? I don't see any similarities. Do you?

There is a scene in Jumanjee that I think is a classic. Jack (played by Robin Williams) is trapped in the floor and there are giant spiders running around. So Jack tells the little kid to run to the shed outside and get the Axe....
