There’s always jobs to be done.
Here , The Mister is acquiring so many ‘ finds ‘ at the moment that our carport really needs a tidy up. I’m not much use with my dodgy arm at the moment so it’s really all down to him.
He also is...

More than a week ago I bought a small, battery operated lawn mower. Then it rained.
I got to use it yesterday and I like it very much. It ran long enough to tire me out, and it did not take too long to recharge. I hope to mow...

This looks awful, but it's the beginning of our home's foundation. Why do they do it this way? I don't have a clue, what they will be doing next.
Watching the man push the top soil off, was pretty exciting. Not to mention, that's...

This is not good. I understand that everyone has his own time to do something for the day. However, this is quite annoying since my neighbor had been mowing for the past 2 hours on and off, I think he was taking a break in...

Well, whatever the difficulty was with my computer, I fixed it. I went in and changed some security settings.
ALSO fixed is my mower. I had not mentioned that it had quit cutting. We asked our next door neighbor who he goes to to...

We have this cheapo push mower, and I went out to do some trimming and decided after looking at the lawn that I should try to mow it first.
The lawnmower hasn't been any good for a while, and it's terrible getting through damp...

I will not complain about being tired. I did work in the garden for three hours, in the sun. I am sure @koopharper works harder
I got rewarded. We dug potatoes. Just a few. We took them home to eat. I also have beets, turnips,...

Do you break your lawn down in sections and mow one section at a time? Or, do you mow the entire lawn at once? Is it mowed in a circular (or squared) fashion? Or do you mow in straight lines, back and forth.

So, today I ill be able to finish mowing because the hubby had the gas can in the back of his pickup. He took it to work yesterday, because he didn't know if he had enough to get to work and then to a gas station.
So, this...

After I did our yard, I went to the MIL's and told her that since her grass was taller than ours, I would want until afternoon to mow her yard. Visited with her for a while and then came home and ate lunch.

So we finally have enough money to get a push lawnmower and a weedeater so we can quit borrowing our landlords, but I know nothing about them. I'm wondering what brands are better than others. It can't be real expensive either, so...

A friend of mine told me that, he just spent $150 to fix his lawn mower. I said, "what?" you can spend the same amount of money, and add $50 more to get a brand new one, and a better one. He was got rip - off. He didn't know that...

I just posted a classified ad to try and sell the ATV that my husband, for whatever reason still escapes me, bought me one day. It was a Christmas present in 2007, the year we moved to...

Do you have a lawn to mow? How do you mow it?
Before we moved we had a very large lawn to mow. It really needed a ride on mower, but we didn't have one, we had to use a push mower, the self propelled kind. It took quite a...
