I love Macro Photography. I will take a macro photo of just about anything. But I do love nature so most of my stuff in macro is flowers, water drops, snow flakes and the like.
It had just rained when I took this shot a couple...

I love globes, or what some call paperweights. I have several that I absolutely love. And I'm picky about what I buy. It has to catch the eye. I love many colors within the glass globe.
Some years ago I gifted my mother in law...

I love macro photography. And I will do just about anything to get a shot. By the time I got this particular shot I was soaked.
Early in the morning just after the sun rose and the dew was still on the grass I wanted a shot of a...

I love macro photography. I love seeing things that I normally wouldn't see with the naked eye. This is a photo of one of the tulips in my garden. You can see the yellow flecks of pollen on the petals. You can also see the pollen...

I have a friend who just takes amazing photographs of bugs. I had never seen such photos in all my life. You could actually see the hairs on the legs of the bugs she was photographing. I was determined to take such shots.

It's still beautiful temperatures around the Chicago area today. I hear the colder weather is coming. We are supposed to get some rain for the next few days, and when I got up this morning it had already rained some.
I have a...

This tiny bug was hard to photograph. Most of my photography is done in the shade. I never seem to have enough light to get a large enough deph of field. This photo was taken with a canon 400d with a 100mm macro lens.
