Metabolic Syndrome

Has anyone out there been diagnosed with "Metabolic Syndrome?" Any idea what it is? Were you prescribed medicine? Has anyone overcome this diagnosis and is now back to "normal." Is the next stage diabetes?

Has anyone ever taken a Metabolic Typing Questionaire? Did you alter your diet according to the results, and if so did it work? I recently took a Questionaire and am wondering if anyone knows what all this is about.
