Ida has moved onshore up to the point of the eye of the storm. Conditions are deteriorating at a fast pace. At Grand Isle, LA, there is already 6 ft. of water over Hwy. LA 1.

It is a very laid back day here today. We did run to town to pick up hubby's insulin at the drug store, to the post office and a stop at the store to get some bottled water in case the electricity goes off which turns the pump...

I just read in the news this morning that a man bombed a Walmart in Mississippi. The reason behind the bombing is because Walmart stopped selling the Confederate flag.
Fortunately, the bomb did little damage and no one was hurt....
