I learned something today! Because most oats are difficult to hull. So when you grow your own oat, you got to grow the hull-less white oat.

We have a horse who lives in the lot next to ours, he has owners- but they more or less don't take care of him. We usually buy a thing of oats every week or two to make cookies with and to feed to the horse.
