Just saw it because everyone I know says it's a masterpiece, and I will be honest-I enjoyed it. I thought it was overly gruesome at times, but all in all its a really interesting movie.

so far, very good. in some ways it reminds me a bit of the flim, Pans Labyrinth, and also in some ways of The Company of Wolves. I just love a fairytale when it's done right. they're meant to be dark and twisted and Grim(m)...

Last night I watched this film and was deeply moved by it . It touched on something so deep inside me , and left me feeling quite shaken by it . Has anybody else seen it and did anyone have a similar reaction to it ?

Have you seen this film by Guillermo Del Torro? IT'S FABULOUS!! My husband and I saw it last night and just absolutely loved it. The acting is great and the creature characters are incredible.
