When my kitten gets too hot he starts panting like a dog! I have never seen another cat do that. Is it common for a cat to pant that way?

I know mine is just about every dog or cat I have had is afraid of thunderstorms
I have my cat Jinx now and he is terrified of storms especially the big crackling ones! He jumps right out of his skin and takes off and goes...

One of my dogs, Cali, seems to ignore me all the time, unless I am offering her food or a walk. If I try to pet her she runs away, when I walk in the door she barely greats me and goes for whoever else is there. I never did...

My cats do the funniest things. They like to chase each other around indoors. I've never seen the outdoor cats chase each other. And, if they do, it's always some type of real cat fight. But, the indoor cats take turns chasing...

My cat likes to climb up into my bed and cuddle with me every night. And, just about the time I'm
falling asleep she'll start cleaning herself. She keeps this up for an hour. And, everytime I turn over, she has to start again....

When we first got our dog a year and a half ago we would put him in a kennel ifwe left to go somewhere. We did this after he ws housebroken because as a puppy he liked to chew on things and would eat things that made him sick once...
