Sunday Sunday …roast dinner day …l
Today we had roast chicken ,roast potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, stuffing and gravy.
For pudding Mom and The Mister had strawberry cheesecake. I had Baileys cheesecake.

Lovely roast chicken today, roast potatoes, cabbage, roasted parsnip, cauliflower, gravy.
Pudding was apple and blackberry crumble and cream.
Using apples from our garden and blackberries that I picked last summer.
Delicious……

So , with today being Sunday of course we had a roast dinner. It just happened to be my most favourite dinner in the world.

Mom and I seem to be having baguettes for lunch more and more often ….it used to be as a treat but it seems to be most days now. They come in packs of two and the offer is two packs for £2 ….making them just 50p each ….amazing...

So for our Sunday lunch today we had roast chicken…..my favourite….with roast potatoes, cauliflower, sage and onion stuffing and gravy.
For pudding we had stewed apple and custard.
All very yummy.

So he roasted a chicken and left it out on the kitchen top and then went out to the shops up town.
He left the dog in the kitchen and had not fed the dog at all.
He got back from shopping up town and found a load of chicken...

Whole chickens were a good buy at Food Maxx today ($.79/lb), so I'm roasting one for dinner. I'm using my great-grandmother's roasting pan to cook it in too!
I'm about to scrub some potatoes to put them in along side the chicken....
